Chess tournament series in Hà Nội 6

Hà Nội’s tournament calendar is dense and mostly young. The busiest address is 257 Bạch Mai, the cultural and sports centre where Kiện Tướng Tương Lai stages Đường Đến Đỉnh Vinh Quang, a numbered series split by age group and sex, and the Future Masters Rating Series, called a cup until April 2026 and a rating series since. The Vietnam Chess Federation’s notice places the GM, IM and FM norm tournaments it runs with Future Grandmaster Chess Club there as well, though their tournament pages print other venues in the old quarter.

Once a year the federation and the city’s culture and sports department hold the Hà Nội open rapid championship at the indoor athletics hall on Trần Hữu Dực, and Sơn Tây has its own open at the town sports hall. The list is ordered by the month of the newest edition; dates given ahead of time are shown as their notices print them.
