Elo-rated tournaments in Hà Nội 5

These series appear on the FIDE rating server or say in their own regulations that games count for an international rating. The two Bạch Mai series belong to Kiện Tướng Tương Lai: the Future Masters Rating Series, reported to FIDE under its rating-series name, and Đường Đến Đỉnh Vinh Quang, whose fortieth edition reached the FIDE rating server. The norm tournaments of Future Grandmaster Chess Club and the Vietnam Chess Federation aim at titles rather than ratings alone.

Outside the inner wards, the Sơn Tây open appears on the FIDE list under its English name, run by the town’s culture and sports centre with the local club. The Hà Nội open rapid championship completes the list, and Vietchess Club in Mỹ Đình, filed under clubs, holds a rated “Road to Master” championship of its own. Each card links the notice or listing where the rating is stated.
